The LMC units alone are a great upgrade...very happy I did it.

Pic of my old ones vs new ones. Major difference in visual quality is a plus as well.

Just ordered my HID Kits from DDM Tuning (fogs & lows) & ordered my lows from LMC Truck!

I can't wait! - I did 6000k on both fogs/lows.

Woot they came in!!! I'm gonna try and upload pics - Here in Utah even if the lighting was perfectly angled.. I'm not sure it would matter. We have so many damn potholes and horrible roads that even basic headlights blind us..

Plus we have TONS of trucks that are raised up and their lights are higher then the top of my car haha xD

For the conversion, correct? HID kits will blind other drivers if I'm reading correctly, but say I wanted to get HIDs (I don't think I do, I ******* hate bright *** lights in my eyes).
For the HIDs, I would need
DDM HID Kit, 35W, 880, 5000K (2) for fogs?
DDM HID Kit, 35W, 9006, 5000K (4) for lights correct?
Mounting Brackets?
Is this correct?
Everyone that swapped still swear by these things? Wish they would have done anything different?
Danny2tek is this the kit you put in? Any problems or any adjustments you might advise?

So... I might be crazy, BUT the ones that fit in the LMC housing have a socket type connection.
While the ones that DO NOT fit into the LMC housing have the two prongs...

Is that right? :o

I can upload pics if I need to.

Not crazy, the HIDs were not paired correctly. No problem tho, I just cut the little rubber thing that held them together and swapped and plugged into the other its coming along... god i'm blind from testing it DD

HEADLIGHTS = SUCCESS!

BUT... it looks like DDM messed up a lil bit :\ it seems like I got the wrong connector or something for the fogs.

Because they light up when fully connected, BUT the actual latch on the connector of the stock connection to the ballast wont fully latch.. and I have to press really hard so I'm thinking it wont work..

I'm going to go to this HID place locally and see if it matches up.. anyone else have problems with getting the fogs connected?

Lol, well I didn't see any replies so I ordered 2 LEDs from SuperBrightLeds, and supposedly those are much better for the fog lights. (They don't melt housings, no horrible glare, etc.)

PLUS they are 5500K which my HIDs are 6000k so they should match
I'll upload pics when they get here on the 25th

Just installed the LMC lights. LMC was very prompt on delivery, ordered on a Saturday night and received Thursday. Wow, what a difference in looks and performance. 15 minute job. Next step is upgrade to HIDs on the lows and fogs.

I just put the LMC kit onto my WS6. Soldering the new connecter harness onto the existing wires was the most time consuming part. Everything fit perfect. I have a little bit of beam alignment to fix. I'm happy with the bulbs that came from LMC. It's a big improvement from the 13 year old sealed beams. It's a no brainer for the money.

Has anyone painted the plastic headlight bezel any other color besides black? Mine is faded and looks like crap. Not sure if I want to just hit it with some new black or some red.

Yes, I've seen a picture on here where someone painted it to match there car (which was pewter) and personally I didn't like it, I had actually thought of doing that myself until I saw what it looked like.

I almost had venison for dinner tonight. Due to not seeing his fuzzy *** JUST STANDING IN THE ROAD (???) I'll be ordering a set of housings asap. However on the fogs I'm thinking of going a different route. I'm going to bolt in some Rigid Duallys led cubes. The little things are insanely bright. Ebay has some knock off's for under $100/pr I might try as well.

Watch out with the super bright LED bars / cubes. Some of them output more lumens than a high beam and have a high beam pattern. You'll blind everyone.

My thoughts are twofold on this matter.

I'm mounting them in the oem "tunnel" and will have the beam low along the road. The dually spot has a very tight beam so while impressively bright, it shouldn't blind while not in the light cone. (Played with a friend's set for a bit)

If they do prove too blinding, I'll ratchet them up a bit and use them as driving lights, rewiring them to come on with the high beams. Then go hunting for lifted trucks with stupid blue hid wannabe bulbs in.
