I originally posted in this thread saying I was going to buy some of these, but I found some nice Audi projectors for about $60, and I currently have them retrofitted into my car. I don't have a thread on it yet as they are not finished, but you guys should really watch ebay for some projectors and do a custom fit. Seriously, the output can't be beat. When these are viewed from further away, the cutoff line is so wide and broad.
Here's a pic right up against a wall. Horrible comparison because how close it is, but at least you see the cutoff.

Please create a thread on those Audi projectors. I'm interested to see how you mounted them and encased them. Is this on your 2001 TA?
I'll add your thread to the Lighting FAQ.

Looks good so far. How are they sealed? Looks like you made a vacuum formed front lens. What about the back?
As far as good OEM Bulbs, check out Philips 85122+.

Did you have to buy a wiring harness with it? Seen it has the wires on the back of the bulb socket. Just wanna make sure that i have everything when i order my set. Really dont want to burn any wiring up. Would rather do it right the first time.. Bye the way awesome find. I have been looking for something like this for a longgggg time. THANKS AGAIN.......

I am sure that many of you know, but I will post it here regardless..There is an ongoing lawsuit against DDM tuning..They only have 4 bulb colors, but advertise them as 7. For example.. If you are were to order a 6000 or a 8000kit, you will get the same kit..Do a search on google. Just want to pass around the word since not many people on this forum know about it yet..They will stop all HID sales next month.

I used the stock Sylvannia housings, removed the stock light bulb<a small screw holds it in place. Then I used a small die grinder to round the hole and added a metal reciever for a 9005 bulb. Cost me basicly nothing except the price of the 9005 65watt Pilot brand bulbs. Now my low beams rock!
