Install Help I am in the middle of installing some speakers in my 01 z28 and am having a little problem. The front door speakers sound good until I begin turning them up and then they seem to make a clicking noise. I don't believe it is because they have been turned up too loudly because it is more of a clicking noise .... What could cause this ? Could I have possibly wired them wrongly for this to happen ? The speakers are JBL P662S by the way .

I'd be willing to bet that you have a Monsoon system and you connected both pairs of factory wires to the one pair of terminals on your coaxial speakers.
Too bad you didn't check here before buying and installing those speakers.

Sorry lol I'm just wanting an answer from someone who possibly knows what I am talking about . I posted that they are JBL P662S speakers and they are definitly component speakers . Mounted like a coaxial with tweeter on top just like the CDT's but they are components . I just need some advice on the problem ....

Better check again. I looked them up online before responding the first time and they are listed everywhere as 2-way speakers (i.e. coaxials). This time I went directly to JBL's website and STILL found that they are coaxials:

The site I got them from labeled them as components . I already solved the problem now .... I cut the box off wired everything up separately . Only a positive on the mid range tho because there were only 3 wires in the wire to the box .... Solved for now tho
