Default Where did this wire come from?

When installing a new steering wheel i accidentally pulled out a red wire from an unknown location under the steering wheel column. It's connected to a 5 amp fuse then runs to a black "hornet" box mounted to the side wall. Please inform me of where it goes and what the black box does. Any help is appreciated

thanks guys

That's the power wire for an aftermarket accessory. If the box is labeled Hornet it's probably an alarm system or a remote starter. Hornet is one of DEI's brand names - they are well known for alarm systems such as Viper. DEI generally uses red wire for constant (battery) power so that wire must have been connected to some wire under the dash that has constant power.
