What radar detectors are yall running?

Every cop will tell you something different. I work in the fire service and know plenty of officers, friends with many of them. Many of you guys would be suprised to find out alot of the police officers that aren't married/have families love their muscle cars/bikes/toys. I have a few buddies that are on the force that run the same radar detectors we're talking about in this thread, lol. Alot of old timer cops will just point at your radar and tell you it doesn't work. They have absolutely no proof of that claim whatsoever. These radars are proven effective over and over again. I actually bought my most recent radar (Valentine V1) used off of a friend that happens to be a police officer that was upgrading to the escort 9500. LOL. They work. 
If we are talking radar, they will prevent you from 95% of the situations that you would usually get nailed. However, if an Officer wants to run I/O and do it correctly.... a radar detector loses the advantage. This means the Officer sits hidden but able to see traffic and when he spots a car that is obviously speeding he instantly turns on his radar unit. You're toast.
BUT most Officers do NOT use instant-on correctly. They blast every car which will give high end detectors the advantage if there is other traffic on the road in front of you.
As for laser aka lidar, a radar detector is 99.9% of the time completely worthless if the Officer is skilled with his equipment, and most are.
