It took me 3 days @ 6-8 hours each.. I'm sure it can be done faster.

What exactly is that? If your pounding, you can't hear it from outside?

Off topic but I'm getting ready to do this this summer as well and clean the carpet while I'm at it. What are you using on the carpet and how do you like it?

Did you have any trouble putting body pieces back on?
Carpet?

I am looking at doing 80 square feet myself.

30 pounds sounds a bit low for total weight added...I'd guess the total is closer to 80-100 than 30 if you are adding as much as some of these guys are.

I only used about 62 Sq feet.

I'm really not worried about the added weight at all. If I ever decided I want the car to be a dedicated drag car then I will regret the install and attempt to remove it.. but I doubt it. I am seriously loving the new sound inside the car. More than worth the time, effort and weight.

No trouble at all I do suggest getting some Aluminum ducting tape and going over any gaps in the sound deadening material. The sticky tar stuff will glue your carpet down over time.

I used simple green and sprayed the hell out of it..More simple green more scrubbing and this time used a brush to scrub. Soaked stains in resolve and then hosed it out several more times.

I was pleased with how much the carpet cleaned up
