Default Kenwood DDX-318 Double DIN installed-PICS***

I finally installed my Kenwood DDX-318. I am pleased with the results. The installation was not easy (although I am no audio expert by any stretch of the imagination). My friend and I had to slightly mod the bezel to make it work. My only complaint is that to play my ipod, I have to run the cord out the front. The unit does not have a rear USB. I suppose it is my fault for not double checking, but I did not think any new touch screen head units came without a rear USB hook up.

Looks good, I was looking at getting the 418, can you not hook ipod up from the rear?

Correct. I cannot hook up the ipod in the rear of mine because there is no rear usb port, but I am 99% sure there IS a rear USB hook up on the 418.

I set out to research who makes a good double din bezel and found this thread. Done.
