Default Amp rack comparison

So I'm looking to get an amp rack but I see there are three options. What is the difference between the following?

6LEDesigns = $120 shipped
KeeAudio = $76 shipped
Subthump = $67 + shipping

And how are they held in place?

I have the subthump rack. They are kind of secretive about how they mount it. They include a URL with instructions, pictures, and a list of a few hardware items you'll need to buy. They warn that the URL will change if anyone publishes it, they don't want anyone copying it, I guess.

Anyways, the hardware required can easily be found at Home Depot and doesn't cost much. It works well and is pretty secure. If the other two include all the mounting hardware, it might account for some of the price difference.

I have one, and there's really no secret about how to mount it..

I know, but hey... just saying that's what comes in the box, and they treat it like proprietary info. I doubt its patented or anything, but if they think its sensitive, no need to go out of your way to **** them off.

I spent ~$25 and built my own. I am not a carpenter by any means. I just followed https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...lkthrough.html with some modifications and ended up with

It's not the greatest but to me, it's better than spending more for something that looks marginally better or just mounting it on the floor.

At the top, I made the cuts around the latch pretty tight and it rests snuggly on the bracket the protrudes from the rear panel that the latch fastens to. On the bottom, I used (2) long (IIRC 2-3/4") #12 self tapping screws made specifically for boring through wood to mount on metal and counter sunk the holes. You can see the screws in that picture and I have since "Sharpie'd" over the heads. They are no longer visible.

I bought one from 6LE before I realized there were other options out there. My guess is he gets them from someone else and resales them and has to raise the price. Hence why Double D now sells his bezels so much cheaper than 6LE did. I'm not hatin', it's just business.

I opened up my amp rack box yesterday after having it for three months. It comes with some plywood and 3 inch drywall screws to mount it.

I make all of mine by hand...using tools of course...lol. I of course have a template I have used for years now...actually a couple of them...but I make and carpet all of mine.
I have one of the enclosures I use manufactured but the fiberglass ones were all hand made by me personally and I do use a mold from my car. FYI.
Subthump also makes all of theirs as well. I can ask 6liter eater this weekend. He will be at the F-Body Gathering with me this weekend. I am actually looking forward to meeting him. He has a lot of cool items.
