Default sub + leak?

Ok so I have a 94 formula. I have a single 12" in the rear compartment. Now my question is. I have developed a leak at the bottom of the glass about a foot n a half long. Could this be related? Also what speakers would fit in the cargo area? Looks like 6x9's?

short answer YES!!!!!!
long answer, well we put a 12 in a ported box I built where the Ttop storage is in my friends 96 and within 6 months he blew out the seal across half the bottom of the glass (you can put your pinky thru it), water got in and molded (nasty black fuzzy mold) the bottom half of the box, get some window sealant silicone, go from the inside and put it in the gap then add some weight on the glass to push it down tight against the hatch for at least overnight to give it time to cure.
