write up on changing guage lights to leds would like to change my guague lights in my camaro to a cool white led anyone have a write up for doing this? also is it hard?

I converted my gauge lights to LEDs over three years ago, and I really like the results. Just take your time in a clean environment that's as dust-free as possible, and you'll be fine.
P.S. If found that if you firmly twist your car's steering wheel tilting arm, you can loosen it, unscrew, it and take it off. It makes removing your gauge bezel a lot easier.

okay thanks! i took off my gauge bezel before not hard at all. just was wondering if i have to solder anything or if its a simple pull a light out n put a led bulb in
If you've already taken a look at the thread posted, then you already know this, but the main gauge, turn signal, and high beam indicator lights are plug in LEDs. Anything else is soldered in.

OP it's really simple. I just did mine a cpl wkends ago and once you have the cluster out, you can see exactly where the bulbs are located. Twist and pull the out the housings (black caps) and swap in the LEDs. Match the green LEDs with the blinkers, the blue LED with the bright indicator, and the rest are whites. I'd wear some latex gloves.

When I did mine they had two settings. Dim and bright.
MAKE SURE YOU GET WIDE VIEWING ANGLE L.E.D
I didnt and I had dark and bright spots. Still looked good tho and I soldered the LEDs to resistors.
