Default Monsoon Aux Adapter Question (I read the sticky!!)

I have two questions that weren't completely answered for me in the Monsoon sticky. I've got a 99 Ws6 with the stock Cassette deck with 12 disc changer in the trunk. So I love the cassette deck because its hilarious and I have the Whitesnake "Slide it In" tape. I figured I've hit the pinnacle of music in the cassette department so I'm in the market to add a permanent bluetooth adapter.

Question #1: I know when the GM9-AUX adapter is connected, you lose the ability to use your 12 disc changer, but my question is, do you lose function of the cassette player too? I just read that this item comes with a toggle switch that allows the cd player/tape cassette and up to two auxiliary connections to play.

Question #2: Do you think this setup will work/do you have a recommendation as to what wires I should splice in to?

My plan is to install this:
(non-sponsor link removed)

And on the RC side of that, install this:
(non-sponsor link removed)

Any opinions?? Any ideas as to a possibly cheaper way to do this? I'm looking at about $80 in parts right now, I'll do the labor myself as it looks fairly easy.

#1. You do not lose any of the head unit capabilities including the built-in tape player. You lose the use of the external CD changer because the adapter plugs into the CD changer port on the back of the head unit.

#2. Adding an auxiliary input adapter and then using its RCA inputs to connect a bluetooth adapter will allow connecting bluetooth audio to the factory head unit. The adapters only require switched power and ground so you should be able to connect them to the yellow wire for power and the black wire for ground.

Not to hijack, but which bluetooth adapter are you speaking of??? I would love to go this route. I am currently using the aux adapter with headphone jack. HATE IT!!!!

Thanks

One of the removed links was for a Milennia MIL-BTREC Bluetooth adapter at a non-sponsor website. I'm sure a Google search will turn up places to buy it.

Good deal.... wondering about the quality of sound with the bluetooh adpater. My wired sounds great, just tired of messing with the wire!!!!

To those whom this may concern, i just finished the install. The sound quality is really on point but like most complaints with the bluetooth dongle, it is significantly quieter than my stock radio, cd and tape player. No big deal though, just crank up the **** a couple more notches and everything is fine. I do have to say mention that between songs there is a light popping and static noise coming from the speakers (only when the bluetooth is in use, not during tape/cd/radio use) but it's not overwhelming. I give the product a 7/10 and am not disappointed by it. Install took about 10 minutes.
