7" Android Head Unit Review
Also think this time I'll find one with Lollipop or Marshmallow and definitely with more internal space. Before the car was gone, I was on the cusp of internal space being filled up on my old HU and only thing it had on it was apps since music was on the SD card. Anyone running one with Lollipop or Marshmallow?
Should be a nice upgraded over the old one. It's got 2GB of memory, 32gb of internal this time (no more running out of room), faster 4 core processor, bluetooth 4.0, same button layout and best part is it'll be running Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). Can't wait to have another android headunit, these things will spoil you and can never go back to a regular screen.

Also, I don't like that Netflix doesn't seem to work, any ideas on why?

My guess is the latest Netflix app maybe doesn't support KitKat now? I know it should all be backwards compatible, but I've come across apps that won't work or I can't even download. One of them was Calida that uses Zooper for widget actions for both of my Nest thermostats.
I remember when I purchased mine originally, they said it would be upgradable to Lollipop when it was released. I checked a few times, but ulitmately didn't really care since 90% of the time mine actually stayed in the PowerAmp app. It was so nice seeing album art and such.
I'll definitely update this thread on what I think about the new version. I'll probably start a new thread on CorvetteForum (assuming it does fit) and I'll link it as well on here.

Crap. After reading this I went online and looked at it. Now I have one on the way and the car isn't even road ready yet, oops...
Hopefully I get home and get it before the wife sees it...
I actually had to go 3 out of 4 on mine, but it wasnt much maybe a MM or 2 on each? basically by the time I cut the part that protrudes into the opening and leaves a ridge on the backside off, it fit like a glove
Hahahaha, I'd say I was sorry but I doubt you'll regret it. I plan to install mine after work tomorrow and can't wait to get it in , set it up and enjoy it!

It's the 1gb model which I think is what hurts it.
Did you keep your steering wheel controls with Lollipop?
Id say my setup is probably overkill since I dont spend that much time in the car, it just streams music from my phone 90%of the time. the exceptions being the random road trip. Still love this thing though
