2000 Z28 Instrument cluster replacement
Since i bought my car, the instrument panel doesn't light up when i turn te lights on.
Yesterday I removed it to check the light bulbs and saw it has some burnt part inside.
I read somewhere the panel replacement is not a simple plug and play. It seems that there is some program to change so the instrument panel works with the car.
Could you confirm program has to be modified or not ?
If it does, could you tell me where to do it ? I'm in France so there is no Chevy dealer nearby.
Thx
Thanks alot for answers.
It is forbiden to modify the milage if a car in France as well but i thimk i'll able to find someone who can modify it and set the correct one. The most important is that i can replace the instrument cluster and drive the car to a shop that can do the milage modification.
The correct milage is reported on the technical inspection every two years so i can't reduce it anyway.
