Monsoon Bluetooth Stereo I recently upgraded all of my speakers in my Camaro but I still miss the ability to have Bluetooth. I recently came across a company on Amazon that was adding Bluetooth to factory radios and selling them. The Bluetooth goes where the factory CD player used to be. Has anyone else seen these or tried them? I tried adding a link but I couldn't get it to work.

Bluetooth I purchased a modified OEM Monsoon head unit that had an AUX input jack added to it. It still retains the CD player.
Then I added a small bluetooth adapter available from Amazon to connect my phone to the head unit. Still looks very stock with the bluetooth adapter removed.
I am very happy with it

Does it make sense to solder/tap a JL audio MBT-RX in the stock monsoon HU for adding Bluetooth? RCA black to pin 1, ground black to pin 2, RCA red to pin 3, and power red to pin 7. 02 trans am w/CD HU w/o external changer.

I used the MBT-RX in my car with a PXDX aux adapter that mimics the CD changer. I didnt really want to go soldering in my radio (Im not very good with an iron). Setup works perfect.

I see, thank you very much for the response. So you “plug and play” that aux adapter into the CD harness port behind the HU? I’m guessing it doesn’t require the external changer either? If ya don’t mind, can you recommend or link the aux adapter you’re taking about please.
