Default 12v key on in engine bay?

I got some ebay front turn signal lights, and they have an extra wire that needs 12v. Obviously I don't want them on constantly, so what can I splice into that will give me 12v when the car is running, that is in the engine bay?

What car are you installing turn signals that need a separate 12v? Is this for a Firebird (as the title of this section suggests)? What generation/year? At a minimum, you can look at the fuse box in the engine bay.
