Default Brake wire on head unit?

What do you do with the green E brake wire on the head unit? I saw a video where someone put a ring terminal on it and grounded it to the radio body. This is for DVD playback. It's a way to bypass the E brake or buying a module for a Kenwood but might work on some other brand radios.

I can confirm that the grounding to the body trick doesn't work with the newer Kenwood touchscreen radios. I might get an adapter at some point.

I didn't have a good connection on the wire. Grounded the Ebrake wire to the body of the radio and it worked. I can play DVD's now.
