Default Lnc 2000 wiring for activation

I'm planning to have it activate by clutch switch and also by button, want to be able to 2 step launch from.a dig but have a button for activating as a rolling anti lag, has anyone set it up to the factory steering buttons?

factory steering wheel buttons are all tied together as a voltage divider ladder so each button outputs a different voltage all on a single wire. you would need to tap into that wire in the column then use something 'smart' enough to deal with the voltage and output a discrete signal for your nitrous. would be easy to do with an arduino, or there might be a product out there that already does it.

interesting, sounds like it might be easier to just add another button, unless there is a lucky wire that happens to be 5 volts which i think os what the 2 step uses to trigger, i wonder if i could also just spice into the ground trigger ans run 1 to the clutch swith and then just have a button that grounds as well.

So from what I'm reading I can't use ground and 12v to activate, so if it activates off 12v clutch can I spice into the 12v wire for a switch to supply 12v as well so it activates on switch or clutch?

So can this not be hooked up to run the timing retard and 2 step at the same time off single 12v trigger? 2 step works off clutch 12v but as soon as I tap the timing retard 12v it stops working. But will work if I run a wire to the battery while the 2 step is active.
