My '04 C5 needs some BASS
Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I should do about my problem of not having a subwoofer. I am too used to the two 15's I had in my suburban, and need something quick!

Well you're not going to fit two 15s, but here's some nice C5 sub options

JL 13W7 and a quality 500w rms amp-PRESTO!
If you want to get stupid, I have a Cerwin Vega Stroker 15DVC for sale, but I seriously doubt you could fit a box for it into your hatch. So my solution is, like I said: 13W7 and JL 500.1 amp. Tell us how it sounds. Oh, I mean, good luck with your decisions!

yeah subthump makes some pretty nice enclosures. if you want to make your own enclosure check out illusion audio subs, their slim mounting depth allows for some unique enclosure options but they do still require a bit of volume. the only 15 i think you would be able to fit in there would be an illusion with a very wide slim box. check them out at www.illusionaudio.com

I didn't mean actually putting two 15's in my car, that would be super overkill. I was thinking like maybe one 10 or a 12, or maybe even a single 15? I'd also preferably like to have it hidden away so the hatch still has a clean look to it.

That's what I figured. I do remember loving to jam deathmetal in my old suburban though... get quite a few looks when you drown out rap with uber loud double bass pedals hammering away
