I found this screen and dvd/cd/mp3 player and i was wondering if i could flush mount the lcd screen where the factory hu is right now and then put the cd player in my center console. Also could i put an am/fm tuner on it

Great idea but I would go with a better quality product than Legacy, it's cheap for a very good reason , it's crap.

thanks for the input guys. Also how much modifying of the dash would i have to do to make a monitor of that size to fit, because most of the ones in the pics were larger screens.

Thanks

ever consider one of the single din chassis units like an Alpine IVA-D901 where the screen motors out?

Stay tuned. I just ordered a Kenwood DDX 7015 head unit. It's pretty bada$$. It's a double din, so I plan on relocating the asr and fog light switches to the little cubby hole in front of the shifter, then trimming the radio bezel and bondo/plastic weld it smooth. The finished product should be a clean factory looking install. I'm pretty psyched. I'll post pics of the entire process from beginning to end.

Would this be a better setup than the legacy monitor and dvd player. PLTVD158 - Pyle In Dash DVD Player with AM/FM Radio and remote, SSV72HR - SoundStorm 7.2" Color LCD Monitor, Clarion 6.5" 3-Way Speakers 180 Watts Max

Thanks

I would stay away from Pyle also. Look for a blaunpluckt(spelling) DVD/CD player, they can be had for fairly cheap and are good quality. I'm not sure about soundstorm.

Keep us updated on the double DIN screen. I thought of this but went the easy route with a flipout 7" wide screen
