Default Good inexpensive amp to push 1 12" Kicker compVR with stock HU

I know I have to get the OEM1 adapter thing. I'm gonna get the 12" subthump "stealthbox" with the cheater "port" thing. Speaker is rated at 400 watts, but calls for 300 max in a ported box. I can remember if I have the 2 ohm or 4 ohm voice coils (speaker is dual) and the speaker is in another state currently...

I used to run 2 of them with a soundstream reference 500 (500 watt total) and it worked quite well, and the gains were fairly low, so I don't need a TON of power.

Looking for a good reliable amp at a cheap price. Not looking to win any SPL comps here, just want clean power.

It must have a low pass crossover (adjustable preferred) and a bass control remote **** would be nice.

TIA
