door locks acting up???

Question door locks acting up???

i have a99 Z28 and the door lock button will only unlock the doors but not lock them! if i push the button on the keyless entry they will lock. also sometimes when im driving down the road the doors will lock by them selves!! anyone else had this problem or know whats going on with my car???? thanks!

hmm i dunno bro, on my Z sometimes when I hit unlock/lock button the locks stick and dont move far enough to lock/unlock the car. Maybe it needs lube....

BCM under glove box. Two wire there (2001 is orange/black and gray/black) for lock and unlock. Meter there and then you can check other places.

fixed it! one of the wires was unpluged

im having the same issue. i was wiring the wet kit up and now when i click the door locks they will unlock but not lock . if i pull the abs fues they work fine. im thinking theres a grounding issue. any help would be great.

Did anybody ever figure out how to fix this? I'm having the same problem since an alarm install, and the shop couldn't figure it out

I would meter the bcm wire for lock I don't he the color sheet on me but It is the best place to start

I know this probably sounds really stupid, but how do you use a multimeter? I've never done it before.
