Default sub facing up

real quick and to the point, is it alright to have a sub facing straight up? i have an alpine type-r 10 pushing 1000w with a rockford amp...

what? you mean mounted regular but face the cone up? Or reverse phase! Isobaric? Explan.......

YEs it is fine but needs to be reverse polarity! and one use one sub per sealed encloser

when u mean cone up u mean regular mount right, not with the magnet outside the box?

if it is not with the magnet outside the box everything will be normal.

lol, yes, facing a sub upwards in the hatch is fine.

I was one of the people who thought you wanted to do an inverted mount with a woofer (magnet out of the box) at first

Nothing wrong with pointing the sub upwards. You can mount it in any position you want. As long as were talking about one enclosure per sub.
