Default JVC's new models dont work with swi-x?

Seen some posts around that the new JVC 2005 models do not work with the PAC swi-x to keep steering wheel controls. Just a heads up for any of you getting a new one.

I did a couple brief searches, and didn't see anything turn up. Perhaps its because the JVC incompatability issues you speak of only applies to the absolute latest models? I really like JVC's SD memory card music loading feature, but I refuse to have all these buttons on my steering wheel that dont do anything. Almost sounds ricey... lol

i have a jvc (see sig) but was more than willing to give up the buttons on the wheel. remote fits nicely in the cup holder . the wheel contros were not a selling piont to me though. my g/f's gtp on the other hand her bose system is unresponsive to the volume **** so you have to use the wheel controls. maybe i should add that wheel controler after all
