Hearing bad things about Infinity amps?

Hearing bad things about Infinity amps? I was going to go with all Infinity stuff, but a few people at my work have told me that Infinity amps are no good? He told me to go with the Polk Momo's instead.
The reason its between those two is because I get really good prices on Polk and Infinity through my work.

At one time, Infinity had some issues with their amps. This was like 10 years ago I think, so I don't know what they're like now. I'm guessing that's where the advice came from to go with something other than Infinity.
since u work at CIrcuit CIty, id say go for the polks, I went with the polks becuase of the ratings...........polks are rated at 105db while the infinities are 89..........BIG difference as well as teh polks are quite stylish.

the differences in db is FIDelity, the polks have higher fidelity and sound much better. I too have tried both and so far...........the polk 4 channel has been the best 4 channel amp ive ever had in terms of clear sound reproduction. + they are under rated, mine was rated at 115watts x 4 channels RMS at 4 ohms and 14.4V.

Fidelity is a measurement of accurate the sound is reproduced.
Decibels (DB) is a measure of how close the sound waves are together or the intensity. The signal to noise ratio is what I believe your referring two but are mistaken on what it means in terms of actual usage.
How about you listen to both of them and buy the one you like yourself
