I appreciate it, thanx again. One of my buddies had a similiar problem way back. I forget what kinda amp it was but he sold his sytem to someone and they hooked it up wrong and he said it was a similiar case to what i am going through, but he just junked the amp instead of getting it fixed or anything. I have never hooked a system up wrong before as far as i know but if thats the case what could go on it. Any speciffic area to focus on? I didnt use this amp for a while because I have 2 others but i want to use this one now because both my other amps are either to small or have to much power and this is just right. It wasnt used for a long time and it worked before this whole episode so its confusing me. Once again thanks man

 

Still havent got this taken care of, what can having the wrong size gauge wire do to this situation. I am only running an 8 gauge power/ground at the moment so could this be causing the amp to do this and possibly heat up to fast? I switching over to 4g next week hopefully but just wanted some input if this could be the culprit.
