sub thump amprack help!! i just got a amprack from subthump anyone ever install one? do you use factory fastners some kind of way? do you remove the factory cover on the rear wall?
they had a web page for instlation help but it wont come up.

i would tell ya but it asks specifically not to do so and keep it just on that installation page.
i didnt remove my cover, if you remove it you will have all the trunk release stuff in view.
and i will tell ya you do use the factory taillight wingnut mounts as part of the install.

subthump won't return emails the webpage listed on the back of the rack will not work help guys anyone have pics that show a little more detail than the ones on their site?

The link works bro, type it in right. Also e-mailed the link out to two users today so don't be sayin I don't e-mails. You should be be more patient and give someone a chance to respond before making claims like that. Especially on weekends when people are away. I don't sit in the office all weekend waiting for somebody to e-mail about an amp rack. Got things of my own to do.

damm sorry! anyway got it thanks. oh and the link didn't work not for the last couple times i tried in the last few weeks.thought you should know . but i got the dr. side box in works great and looks good too. nice work. and thanx again for the email.

hey by the way what do you think of the old round solobarics how do they stack up against today's subs i have one in yr driver side stealthbox on one side of a KX600.4

I'm getting ready to order the stealth box and amp rack as well.
Where can I get more info as to how both of these install to the car, and/or see the actual installation instructions?
The pics on the site don't show all the detail of how these products install.
Also, what thickness board is used for the amp rack & stealth box? Diameter of hole in stealth box?

yeah becareful when ordering your amprack cause thats all you get, you have to make the brackets to use it yourself. which i think is crap. Any how if i have to make my brackets myself i should have just made the amp rack my self too. i emailed the guy but he didnt give me much info other than there was another ta guy that made them try emailing him. Once again as posted above awesome customer service.,.

How does the rack actually attach to the car?
What do these brackets look like.... Where do they go?
It would be nice if there was a diagram or pic of how these things attach to the car. Just about any other product out there you can find dimensional data, pictorial view, isometric views, etc...
$75 is not a huge sum to pay, but one would assume that everything needed to attach it to the car would be included..
