Did anyone try to fit 8" subs by the rear seats?

I have 8w3v2's in my sail panels and have had for 6+ months now with no problems.

I was going to do 10's in stealth boxes, but this is way cooler. Does it still hit good enough lows for you?

IMO it doesn't hit as much as it could with those speakers. Being more or less free air, there's not huge amounts of rumble from them. The 3-10w3v2's in the rear take care of that though! Before any w3s, I did run a 10w1 in a stealth box and the 2-8w3v2s in free air jam as good. IMO though, if I was do my whole system again, I'd just go what I have in my sails and leave the trunk open for.....well anything cause I can't use it now.

dang...that little 6.5 hits from 20-1khz....hard to believe...but cheap enough to give it a try. From a technicallity standpoint, should this hit lower than most 10's since most 10's can only get down to around 25hz

I remember when the EU-700's first came out there were a couple of posts on here saying that they didn't sound good at all as stock replacements. Plus, you'd need either a spacer or do some cutting to make the 3.71" mounting depth fit. At best there is 3.5" back there.

I think that was when hooking them up to the stock amp is what makes them not sound good.
