Default CB antenna

Couldn't find it in the search, but I know I saw a post about someone having a conversion thing for their radio antenna???
Or for those of you that have CB's in your F-bodys where do you have the antenna?
I tried a magnetic one, HA, no metal to put it on....
Thanks
JD

You can get one that looks like a cell phone antenna at Wal-Mart. I used one on my old '02 Z for a while. It worked decent for its small size. CBs are better than radar detectors too b/c truckers will let each other know ahead of time where 'ol Smokey Bear is hiding

That's a big 10-4
If you can stand the other BS, a cb is a pretty good item to have to help avoid tickets

Don't ever use one of those AM/FM/CB splitters with an AM/FM antenna - you'll get almost no range and you'll risk damaging your CB radio. If you want to use a single antenna, get a CB antenna and use a CB/AM/FM splitter. The difference is that the CB antenna can easily double for receiving AM/FM but an AM/FM antenna can't be properly set up for transmitting CB signals.

There is a lot more information (including pictures) in these earlier threads:
