subs in an extended cab dakota RT???
MTX makes a Thunderform for under the rear seat of '97+ club-cab Dakotas. I have one w/ 2 10" 4000 series MTX subs in my '99 RT powered by a 450W RMS amp mounted under the passenger seat. Sounds great. The Thunderform replaces the plastic "tool tray", and can be purchased w/ a built-in amp (don't bother) or w/ just subs, or empty so you can add your own subs. Crutchfield carries them, but you can probably find them elsewhere cheaper.
my rear bench sits almost flush with the floor though i guess they stopped putting the tool tray underneith the bench, unless there is a way to adjust the seat to make it higher, guess i will have to look.

you can but 'blocks' underneath the bench to make the seat higher...at least in the GM trucks...just figure out how much higher you want to go and I've seen lots of guys use MDF and raise the seat and also depending on how high you go make the bolt longer also (and depending on how the bench is attached to the rear of the cab extend that also...

The T-form does make the seat angle up slightly higher than the factory tool tray does, but it's still very usable.
yeah i think thats what im going to get but they are kind of expensive so im probably going to get a medium density fiberboard and fashion one of my own, im going to make one for my rockford sub on one side and the amp on the other, i might even put my old xbox under the amp, see how that looks.
