Which 10" sub to get?

I am about to get the subthump stealth box for my 02' trans am and I was wondering what 10" sub I should get to put in it? I've been looking at the Rockford Fosgate P310D2 punch stage 3. Does anyone have any feedback on this sub or have any suggestions for another one. Thanks for the help.

I would need to get a new amp also. Any suggestions for that too? How much are you asking for that subthump box? Did you like the box? Anything wrong with it?

Box is just fine, brand new never been used. I'm going a different route thats all. Bought it then changed my mind. They are $110 delievered from subthump I'll sell it to you for $100 delivered. WHat HU do you have and how much power did you want? Are you just looking for an amp for the sub? I might beable to get you a deal on an Arc audio sub not sure yet.

I have a sony xm-ds1600p5
1600 max
500 rms @ 4ohm
900 rms @ 2ohm
I wanna run one 10" in the stealth box. any ideas?

Well you should get a 4ohm DVC. It will run at 2ohm. Then you need to pick a decent sub at 900watts rms

in a 10". But can be done. Are you looking for sq or spl? sound quality or blowing the hatch open ?

Kicker Car Audio 05S10L5-4 is an inexspensive sub that will handle 900watts

....or you could add the passenger side stealthbox and have 2 10's. In that case, you would buy (2) 2ohm DVC Subs to get a 2 ohm load. The Alpine Type-R Sub would be a great choice.

If you got a JL audio sub wouldn't it be better to get the JL audio stealth box instead of the subthump?

You can buy the whole thing together. It will cost you though. The less expensive way to do it would be to buy the sub on ebay and put it in the subthump box but the JL box is designed for it. Its a money thing. You should pm me as well and see what I can do for you. Image Dynamics and Arc audio are nice as well.
