what amp to run with these
they are 6w0-4
I replaced the monsoon subs with these and they sound good just seem to lack the punch.
SO what amp should I get just to run the subs
thanks in advance
the kicker is too much power. Those speakers only handle 75w rms or around 125watts max per sub according to jlaudio's link above.
I would use their 250/1 amp if you want to just power the subs.

the 300/4 would work too, but would only give you 150watts rms in the bridged mode for the subs but will give you 2 channels at 75watts each for the front if you upgraded those speakers too. The 250/1 for just the subs will put out 250rms, a little more volume.
My best recommendation would be to pick up new door speakers, and a decent 4x75 or 4x100 amp and be done with it.

The speakers will only handle 125watts tops according to the link. Even with the gain all the way down, you know what will happen. The person listening will turn it up to try to get the volume out of the subs. It's common and you know what will happen, pop
If i use a 250/1 how do i wire them 2 wires out of the amp ?

Hello Bradley, I recommend our e1200 amplifier. With a 2 ohm mono load it will provide your 6W0’s with 200 watts RMS of power. "

That's their economy line; it's a class a/b amp. The 250/1 is a class d. It's a little more effiecient than the a/b amps.
If your on a budget, the e1200 is the way to go. It's about $100 bucks cheaper.
