ok, so ive bought 200 square feet of fatmat for pretty cheap on ebay and completely covered my interior about 3 months back. At first I was impressed with the price and thought it was a great product.
I did not put the interior back in because I wanted to see how it held up against Dynamat extreme, which I have in the car as well. As it turns out, the Fatmat is bubbling up and coming apart. The worst part of it is that I vigorously cleaning the whole car with rubbing alcohol on various account to ensure tackiness and even used a heat gun and rollers to apply it. The fatmat is now simply falling apart, corners are coming up, the foil is fading (not that big of a problem), and it leaves these orange marks in some spots (Oils?).
Just a recap, FATMAT IS CRAP, DONT BUY IT, stick to the proven Dynamat, its easier to install (NO heatgun rendered better formability and smoother look)
