Well?? I have a Best Buy mount, and a Alpine 9845 or so head unit.

Get an IPOD and hook it up, those don't skip.

Thats what I do now, I want to be able to listen to cd's as well though.

sorry to jack, but what ways do you guys hookup your ipods, mine is on some big fugly stick thing that plugs into the cig. lighter. blah. and it plays over the radio, so i'm not getting the quality i should.

get the gm aux-9 and hook it up to your cdchanger port on the back of your radio(stock) and get headphone jack to rca's

^what he said. Then run the RCA to headphone wires under the console to your ash tray, imho the best spot, you can also pull more wire out of the console, and move it over inbetween the Ebrake and the shifter boot, it tucks nicely there, and you can still have the ashtray clossed..

Well, if it has always been like that, then the back of the radio probably isn't secured properly or maybe the actual head unit had a laser problem from the factory.

If it has just recently started doing it, and it is getting worse, then it's possible the laser is just losing alignment.

How old is the h/u? Did you install it yourself?

Not hard to change songs, if you have memorized your playlist, you don't even need to look.

It got worse after I went off into a ditch. Headunit is pretty new, I installed myself.
