Default programming car alarm remote

I recently bought an rs and it dont have a remote for the alarm and everytime i open the doors on the car the alarm goes off so i went and got a remote from an 01 cavalier I just wanna know if anybody knows how to program it please help!

I don't know if the Cavalier remote will work, but you can try.

Pop out the radio fuse, turn the key to the "on" position but don't start the car. Hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the remote at the same time. After 15 seconds all of the locks (door and trunk) will "shuffle." Thats it. Turn the key off, put the radio fuse back in and test it out.
