My volume control light on the steering wheel is out. Just wondering how to change it

I'm thinking there's a sticky on here somewhere or something in the FAQ's about this ... some have switched to LED's also. I took mine apart and resoldered the joing for the bulb and fixed it as it was a cold solder joint on mine and the bulb was still good.

just do a search and alot of topics come up

i just did mine!! go to radio shack and get the bolbs u need they will tell u(12v) and get a sodering kit (8 bucks) so easy to do!!!! u can take the controls apart

haha, i like how you asked the same quetion several times, but everybody just said it was easy to do and didnt tell you how to take it out.

i would like to know the same thing because i would like to switch everything over to red leds in my car

o u need a shader gun to heat up the soder where bulb is then u put in the new bulb and shader!!! go to radio shack they have the soder gun kitthat comes with everythiung u will need and its 8 bucks. they have the bulbs u will need to 12v

I think year one has the whole control module. you just have to give them your vin. hope this helps.

I'm new here and I came across this thread and I wanted to let you all know that I have a "HOW TOO!" on this! I'm over at the www.30th-ta.org site and I just recently put this together for some of the 30th owners!

That's cool! I looked everywhere for directions on how to do this and couldn't find them! I new how too do it I was just looking for a write up on it and since I couldn't find one I made one myself! Mine are still good, I just put together the how too for one of the owners over at the 30th site his lights went out on his!
