Anyone have drive+play??
o btw i have an 02 SS with the Monsoon system.... thanks in advance for any help
If you dont care about the display screen and dont mind thumbing through your Ipod to control tracks in the car then I'd just save the cash and go with a wired fm modulator. Of course if you can wire it to the aux input harness you might be able to get better quality sound. Otherwise for that price I'd just get a new headunit and the proprietary ipod connector for that. Might cost a little more but IMO you get more out of it that way.

anyways back to the topic.. my friend uses his Ipod and has this little device that broadcasts it through the stock speakers.. plugs right into your Cig lighter, you have to be on a certain FM channel.. like 88.9 or something. works great, sounds awesome

SS4Luck,
I've been seriously considering getting one these. I haven't seen them in any stores, only online, so I can't get the measurements I'd like.
If you do get one, could you do me a favor? Could you see if the controller **** piece is small enough to fit in the console cupholder? If it does fit, how high does it stick above the console? Thanks a lot!

they list three installation options, Wireless FM transmitter, Wired FM transmitter and 3.5mm Audio Line output. Their installation diagram,
www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/diagram.aspx
also shows the option of having the Audio Line output splitting into RCA channels. This would seem to give you a method of achieving nice sound quality.
But, I'm just relying on what the manufacturer says. As I said, I haven't seen any in stores around here, so this information could be wrong.

I am running a PIE GM9-AUX and a Soundgate AUX3, which allows me to toggle between my sirius sporster replay, my ipod and one additional input .. works great, and sound quality is awesome. I spent like $140 total, and the install took less than two hours, and I am old, fat and slow.

a box by USA Spec model pa11-gm45
just search google for pa11-gm45 and you will be impressed for 100 bucks trust me I know this is what I will get after my last few kits, it really isn't worth the eye sore of all the gear it takes to put in an iPod but this will suit me just fine and it sounds GREAT!
