My antenna is on the back hatch glass, pretty unobtrusive, I don't even notice it anymore
The reciever is in front of the shifter on the TCS switch panel

I've got a Roady XT and have the antenna mag mounted between the hatch opening and the stock antenna so it somewhat blends in. The unit itself is mounted inside the center console. I added another hidden lighter plug inside the front of the console and tapped into the wires for the factory plug. I'm using the FM modulator of the XT. It works but the factory Monsoon sucks so I may replace it before long.

2K2WS6TA, that is EXACTLY what I thought of when I read the title. Easy to access and read, not likely to get bumped or anything. . .and close to the head unit!
Lethal, that is almost what I pictured. On the roofpanel right there in the center, just above the glass.

my antenna is mounted in the engine bay on top of the passenger shock tower
works almost flawlessly, if i didn't coil my extra wire poorly it'd have a much better signal.

my antenna sits on top of my rear view mirror, and I get perfect reception.
My radio is mounted on a block of wood that I slide into the cubby hole beside the cig lighter, and I have the wires running inside the center console up through the back of the hole .. that way I can remove it when I want/need to.

it will work as long as you do not have metallic paint.
