Mounting a Portable Navigation System?
It comes with a crazy little suction cup mounting contraption. lol I got a decent spot for it. But it does cut off some visibility while youre driving. (under the rear view mirror, close to the dash). I wanted to know if anyone else has mounted one of these in some "creative" way, but so it still works (needs to be close to glass for gps). I figured because of the t-tops it might be a bit more flexible in its positioning, however the suction cup only works on so many surfaces.
I had a clever little idea of maybe cutting out part of the dash above the 3 AC vents and somehow mounting it in there to flip up so I can keep it out of the way when i dont need it. What do you all think?
