Default New amp issues

i just replaced an old 4channel Alpine amp which i had bridged into 2channels with a 4 channel JBL amp which i am currently only using two of the 4 channels. the amp swap was as simple as unhooking the old amp and putting the new wires onto the new amp. the only problem is the new amp has a whine to it. the whine does not increase in volume when i rev up the motor but stays constant and eventually gets droned out by the music. the problem is that its very annoying. granted its a more powerful amp, should i be searching for a better ground? the power wires for the 4 channel and the subwoofer amp are both fed off the cap. any suggestions?

Is it a feedback issue? Gain too high or something?

Whine is usually caused by one of two things. A bad ground or running your power wires next to your RCAs. I would check those first, and if that's not the case move on from there.
