Any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you get one of the 90's Delco Bose radios you will have to replace all of your speakers with Bose speakers. The early Bose systems used a special high-impedance, low-level output head unit that connected to speakers with individual amps attached.
So your best bet would probably be an aftermarket head unit.
The capacitor looking things on the Polks are probably crossovers or low pass filters. I don't know about the Audiobahns.
Most people will tell you that you can get better sound and more features (satellite radio, MP3 capability, etc.) from an aftermarket setup. The biggest disadvantage is that they don't look stock and a lot of people like the stock appearance to prevent theft (or just for looks).
