OK, I'm wanting to build an SQ setup and currently have plans for an Adire Audio Brahma 10" in a Subthump Stealthbox. Any opinions? I'm also thinking about driving it with a JL Audio 500.1 amp. This is for an SQ setup, but also one that doesn't mind getting REALLY LOUD every now and then (well, actually alot )

Not a bad choice for your low end (Bass) equipment. But I do have some questions/comments: What are you planning to do for your high end? (Mids, tweets, etc.) I realize that not all of us have a money tree in our backyards, but if you are planning to combine this with the stock system, you won't be able to hear anything but the bass. Try to upgrade you highs too. Also, be sure that that woofer can handle that kind of power in a JL Stealthbox. A Stealthbox only has an internal volume of about .7 Cubic Feet. For a 10" woofer to sound good in such an enclosure, It has to be of a "Small Enclosure" design, or made for small enclosures. If you put a 10" that requires 1-1.5 cubic feet in a sealed box loke the Stealthbox, you wont be very satisfied with the low end response.

Supersound is correct, I have the kappa perfect 10" and it was designed for a small enclosure. I run mine with a jbl mono amp bp600.0 and I can tell you it gives great tight bass, but put the volome up and look out

Interesting about the volume, I'll have to check into that... The fronts are probably going to be powered by MBQuart QSD216's, unless I find something I like better. Alpine 7998 HU, Stinger wiring, LA 1 Farad Cap, Audiocontrol EQX Crossover/EQ, not sure on the hi/mid amp yet.

i doubt u'll find anything u like better than those MBQuarts...they are pretty sweet
may i suggest another HU...look at the Pioneer Premier's....i have one and have not been able to find another HU that can beat its Easy EQ. And if ur after SQ...then u need a good EQ
