Default Install is complete!!!! PICS inside!!

OK everyone DJsexay and I have been working on this install for a few months. With DJ only having basically the weekends and I having MANY trips over to Hanover it took little longer than anticipated but the results speak for themselves. The components are as follows:

Alpine 7998 CD/MP3 player
JL 12w7
Focal 7w2 Utopia in stock door locations.
Focal 4w2 Utopia in custom kick panels.
Focal TN51 Utopia tweets in custom A pillar pods.
JL 500.1 for the sub.
JL 300.2 for the 7w2s.
JL 300.4 for the 4w2s and the TN51 tweets
A LA 1 farad cap, Optima yellow top, and stinger fuses and wiring throughout complete the install. Here are some finished pics. Let me know what you think.
Some pics of the custom opening and mount to have the 7998 sit flush when opened.

There you have it. PLEASE overlook the dirt . It is -5 with the windchill and I wasn't going to hang outside too long

Opinion and comments welcomed. I also would like to thank Mike DJSexay for one hell of a job. This guy knows what he is doing folks. Any local guys need something done I suggest looking him up before you go to a shop. Well after Spring Break Nationals

thanks

ON the contrary. IN our cars the 500.1 is perfect for the 12w7. Remember before the 1000.1 came out, what was JL powering it's show cars with 12w7s? Right 500.1s Not to say that a 1000.1 isn't down the road, but right now more than enough bass for a SQ setup.

Awesome set-up! How do the amps get cooled? Is there a fan?

That system is beautifull...I would like to see some construction pics if you have them. Also...do you have any pics of the a-pillar tweets? I have mine mounted in the same location but the mount is only for now and I am looking for some ideas on how to clean them up a little. I really like what you did with the trunk area, very clean....did you ever think of putting some type of grill over the W7 for extra protection? I am doing the same type of sub install but with an ID Max and am trying to brain storm to find an idea of how to do one. Take a look at my system and let me know what you think..see sig.

VERY VERY NICE, I love the way the H/U is installed. Everything looks almost factory. Are both of you guys going to Daytona? I would love to see the cars in person.

Dude, that looks great. It looks very custom, yet almost factory.

Awesome kick panels!! I had yet to see a home made kick panel that looked like it belonged in the car until now. That is a sweet job. Most homemade kick panels I've seen have horrible contours, are covered with cheap materials or are not well matched to the car in which they are installed. Great job.

It is a very nice setup. Excellent choice of equipment. I would be interested in seeing some pics of the sub enclosure while it was being built. I have a similar enclosure in my 95 Z28. I know that speaker has to be pretty close to the T-tops when they are in the hatch.
