If you want, I can snap a picture of mine with all the dimensions on it. Basically, the hardest part is the face. The rest is just as big a tube as you can fit back there. You will either need to use fiberglass or use flexible plywood to create the rear portion.

Just drop me an e-mail if you want the pics/dimensions.

I'm basically the same way, but I still have a job... but not a good one at that.

yes, pictures would be most delighted.. either host them (someone else apparently wants them).. if you could give us some approximate measurements of the straight-edges that would assist me in building one... or email them to me at christopher@lifeinwidescreen.com and i'll host them on my website..

I'll try to remember to post some pictures tonight when I get home. I'll take measurements as best I can and add them to the photos. I should warn you though that the main volume of the box is a cylinder, not a rectangle, so building it will be a bit tricky.

ws6-speed - Can you please measure the overall height of the box from top to bottom? This would help me with the measurements of the angle's. This way I can figure out the degree of the left and right angle. Thanks, and the sooner the better since I'm working on sketch of the box on paper as we speak <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .

I can measure the box from top to bottom, but you should just measure from the shelf in the car to the sail panel. It should fit completely inside(something like 12 3/4").

Also note, the depth of the cylinder should be 5 3/4" not 6 1/4". I have had some issues mounting the box due to the metal flange on the wheel well hitting the box.

The parts are just standard mdf for the flat cuts and flexible plywood for the cylinder.

You should use cardboard for the face before you go cutting wood. Trim it up to fit exactly then cut your wood to match.
