remote start
and if you dont mind what is involved in putting it in an M6 over an A4, the A4 makes sense, but how to you "press" the clutch in to make it start remotely in an M6. I realize u leave it in neutral and dont actually press the clutch in. but i dont know what is involved.
I would make em sign lots of paper work my lawyer had drawn up.
We played with micro switches and proximity detectors for making sure the car was in N but all attempts there failed...
My Real advice ... pass on the remote start! for M6
just thought it would be cool for 2 reasons
1. keep my car cool in summer
2. scare people that are checkin out my car in parking lots when it starts up all of a sudden, cuz i plan on gettin duals pretty soon
You can easily prove it to yourself. Start your car with the parking brake engaged and then let out the clutch without giving it any gas - the car will stall (if it doesn't then get the brake adjusted). Now, if the running engine can't overcome the parking brake then the starter motor sure won't be able to.
