Trans Am on the way...A few questions.
All right. I have a 2002 trans am on the way, and i am trying to figure out the best course of action for my stereo. As of right now, I plan on keeping the Monsoon (until I kill it or it breaks) so I can just convert the CD Changer Port to RCA for my satellite radio. This saves a good bit of money from replacing the HU, getting a direct connection kit to HU, etc...
In my current vehicle I have two Rockford Fosgate Punch HE's in a box with a 760W Pioneer GM-X862 amp. Of course with the two 12s in its current box, it will not fit into the back of the car.
What should I do for the trans am? Should I get a t-top box or scrap the current subs and get two 10s in a stealth box? And what about the amp? Is it even a decent amp? I found the amp in my garage about a year ago (wasnt mine) and a buddy of mine and myself put it into my SUV.
I am not that big of an audiophile, the subs hit nicely in my opinion. So should this setup suit my needs?

Ok man, this is what I think...The monsoon is a decent stereo until you really try to crank the volume up, then it tend to distort no matter how much you play with the EQ.
There is really only one spot you can put a sub, that is in the left hand side of the trucnk. You can fit a 8inch enclosed sub or a 10in enclosed. Now were to mount the amp? That is one question I have been trying to figure out myself....Shouldnt need much more than that....
