Default Help: Need exact length of stock positive battery cable for a 02 Camaro

Hey all:

I need the exact length of the positive battery cable. I am having a cable made up in a 4 gauge and want to get it cut as close as I can to the stcok length.

Thanks

Does anyone have one sitting around they can measure for me? I even called 3 dealers and couldn't get any measurements, no one had it in stock.

Do you not read dur. I even stated I tried 3 dealers and no luck. They could special order me one but I had to pay for it up front.

Use a piece of string and route it next to the one in the car. Then measure the string. That's what I did but I don't remember the length.

I didn't say goto a dealer Dealer is the LAST place I look, since they have so many cars to stock parts for. A 4 year old car wouldn't be a priority anymore.

Went to an parts store's online site, and it's 45" for the Pos cable.

And so what if you had to pay upfront. Order it, take it home, measure it, return it saying it was the wrong length and you got one elsewhere but thanks.

Dalas, I think the problem is the tight space, since it runs down to the starter. (If I'm remembering correctly)

There is 2 cables coming off the battery terminal. One looks like it runs to the fuse block but cant see where the other one runs.
