i thought the stock alternator was 102a?

My stock alternator was 120amps, but the original poster said 3 or 4 times that his was a 140 amp. I was assuming he actually knew what he was talking about

I have an LT1 and assumed mine is 140 amps. I know the LS1's have a weaker alternator (100-105 amps or something). Is it true that not all LT1's came with a 140amp alternator?
