Default PIE Line Driver. Help please

http://store.xmfanstore.com/linedriver.html

Will this ^ be able to get the volume output of the XM Kenwood Direct Tuner to match the output of the cd player. As it stands now, when I have the the XM tuner and the CD player at the same volume on the HU, the XM is noticeably softer. Will something like that work???

Yes, it will. Connect power to the LD-1, and connect the unit inline the RCA output of the XM unit. Then adjust the output to match the volume of your deck. It can provide up to +18 dB of boost. BTW, Cardomain has a better price on it.

Thanks for the reply!

Let me make sure I have this correct. I will need another set of RCA cables I assume.... Then run the RCA cables from the Input on the LD-1 to the output of the XM unit, and that's it?? Then match the volumes to where i think they are similar.

I am electronically challenged.

**Is that your pug in your avatar? I have a pug as well. He kicks ***!

Are you running the RCA output frm your XM unt to a RCA input on your deck? You should connect the xm unit (via RCA) to the input on the PIE, then the output of the PIE (via RCA) to the input on the deck. That should require two RCA cables if the XM unit doesn't have them attached. Switch to CD, listen to the volume. Switch to XM, and match the volume by increasing the gain on the PIE unit. Yes, the pug in my avata is mine. His name is Snootch. Pugs are awesome dogs:

lol.. I hijacked my own thread!! I want another pug, a black one as well, so Thunder will have someone to play with when I am at work.

Hopefully this LD-1 will work for me. Thanks for the heads up on the cheaper price at car domain. I just dont like the fact that I have to keep adjusting the volume between the two devices. I want them to both match at the same volume.
