The drivers side stealth boxes, does ANYBODY know how much airspace they provide? is it more than subthump? less than subthump? they look to be a very well made enclosure. I just need them to provide at least .6 cu ft and have a mounting depth of at least 6.5" and I cant find that info on their site. Any help, greatly appreciated! thanks

They should definitely be at least .65 cu. ft. of airspace & have more than 6.5" of depth. I have one of their boxes with the single 10" W3...and it sounds great for a single 10" sub. Very accurate.

I have a FI SSD that I am considering putting in it, the user that I bought it from said that with .6 cu ft of airspace that this sub was remarkably loud, and remained very accurate with the beats. I am gearing this system for sq and I have the comps already, need a sub setup to provide me with some good lows. I've got a subthump ttop box with a 12" alpine type x, and a really big amp, that setup will be very demanding on my elec. system. I figured Id consider a downgrade.

For the record all stealth boxes are about .5-.6 cu.ft. of airspace. Some use polyfil inside to "trick" the sub into "thinking" theres more airspace although subthump tested this theory with no difference in sound. The only ones that are larger are something custom made that extends up toward where your hatch speakers would be. Then you might be able to get around 1 cu.ft. maybe. The other option is to use the area where your spare is (passenger side). There is more room on that side to extend downward into where the spare would reside because it's deeper. Some have gone this route with success when running 12" subs requiring more airspace. Good luck!!

upon further investigation lol I read that the 10w3 requires a minimum of .6 cuft of airspace to work properly, the sub I now own has the same requirements, shouldnt be a problemo.

yea the sub that I will be running is a brand that is a new caraudio forum favorite, its a FI car audio, 10 inch ssd. I have heard nothing but good from this brand, and I will know soon whether the hype is for real or just BS
