Default I Searched...aftermarket speakers and sub stock head unit question

I want to use the stock head unit. I want to put all after market speakers(componets) in the car and the jl stelath box.

How can this be done correctly and sound GOOD for a stock deck.

Sound GOOD, with all capitals? You'd need to modify the stock deck to have preouts at the very least. A LOC will not give you GOOD sound.

-also, the worst part about the stock setup is the HU due to the distortion it puts out...

i dont agree i ran all my new speaker wire to the back and by passed the the stock wiring and used two hi/low converters to the stock deck. spliced one on rear wires and one on the front wires just untill i got the head unit i wanted souned good and for someone that wants to keep the stock deck would be perfect even keep the mids and highs running off the deck and use the converter just for rca jacks for the sub amp just an idea
